Only one person at desk to check in customers, previous customer took forever to get checked in and even though I had provided all driver info online I still took 15-20 mins to check in. The car - a hybrid - was very easy to find and drive out of the airport environment. The hybrid was very fuel efficient and should be used as much as possible for rentals now.
The car was crappy and the service was worse. Called Canberra airport drop off and got some customer service who couldn’t give me the actual number to the drop off. Left something in the car and the car had problems and no one called us back. Terrible service and the car was a piece of junk. Unsafe. Won’t use Avis in the future

Despite Alamo/Enterprise's claim that they have a rental counter at Brisbane International Airport, they do not. They let you book and then 4 or so hours before your flight lands they send you an email that the counter is closed due to covid and make you head over to the domestic terminal to collect your car. Not practical and against current international arrival covid management regulations (can't travel on public transport)

I arranged for a hire car for one of our members but when he went to pick it up they said I had to be there he was in Brisbane and I was in Perth so that could not happen, I am now trying to get my money back.

The man who set us up in Brisbane was super lovely and made us feel valued right away. We enjoyed the car, and the only teething problem was me not being able to figure out how to open the petrol cap haha! Overall a great experience and would do it again.

Pick up was slow and disorganised. My car full was 3/4 full and required to be returned full but no one had time to address with me at pick up. I was ignored for over 10mins at return.
Return the tank full and they try to pretend that it isn’t. Have to deal with customer service who also wastes your time.
