The Obertrauner Hof is located in the heart of the tranquil village of Obertraun in the Salzkammergut region, only a 10-minute walk away from the shore of Lake Hallstatt. The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hallstatt can be reached by ferry, bus or after a 7-minute drive. Most of the rooms have balconies and offer views of the Dachstein Massif. To minimise noise, there are no televisions in the rooms. Guests can benefit of free WiFi access in public areas and there is a lounge with tea and coffee making facilities. Many attractions are nearby, including the salt mines of Hallstatt, the Dachstein Ice and Mammoth Caves, and the 5Fingers viewing platform on the Krippenstein mountain. The Obertraun Dachsteinhöhlen Train Station can be reached within a 5-minute walk, and St. Wolfgang is a 40-minute drive away. The Dachstein West Ski Area, with its 140 km of slopes, is nearby.
