The thrifty desk did not have the van I had booked, but instead had me registetred for a minivan - which was a completely different class of car and rate. The thrifty desk would not honor the reservation or the rate. I wound up not being able to transport everything I had intended as a result. Incredibly disappointing

They did not have a car ready. Would have had to wait 2 hours. I heard a gentleman say he had been there 3.5 hours. Got a car someplace else. The workers wee great, professional and kept their cool. Not having a car ready was the issue.

Car was given to me with fuel beeing empty. I realized it after I had left already. Front tires was borderline. Car had only 2000 miles left before oil service would have been required. We drove almost 3000.

Pickup experience was awful. They told me there was a 5 hour wait for my car, even though I had a reservation (other people had been waiting almost 6 hours). The people at the counter weren't really explaining what was going on at first. Since I was not prepared for the 6 hour wait I left to eat and get a power bank for my phone. I got back hours before my expected time but they implied they gave away my car because I wasn't there and had to start my wait again. Even though I had been there on time and they were the ones who were late. Also I had already paid! The absolute least they could have done was call me and alert me to return and held my car unless I did not. Overall I had to wait about 4.5 hours.

Horrible. Upon arrival to pick up my rental I was told there was an hour wait which turned into 2 hours. At that point I cancelled my reservation and went to another car rental business that immediately provided me with a car. This was my first and last experience with Thrifty.
poor service, hit with additional fees plus failed to provide final cost documents, did not provide promised final receipt (email )after I made in personal request( only could provide e-mail copy, no hard copy) did not send e-mail copy as he stated.

It is not clear that Routes is not at the airport during booking, so it is also not listed on the signage with the other rental cars. I called, it said to press 1 to schedule/request shuttle pickup, but no one answered. After 4 attempts, I went downstairs where I found a sign pointing to the shuttle. A man stated that I had just missed the shuttle, but it was unclear if it made regular rounds or it was requested, so I waited while trying to decide if I should request an Uber to the location. I ended up waiting about 30 minutes. The check in process was slow. They were understaffed for the amount of people waiting. They didn't have the class vehicle I requested, but they upgraded me to a large Jeep that I didn't like/want, but didn't refuse because I didn't want to wait any longer. I still ended up being late for my appointment. Upon returning the vehicle, I wanted to use the restroom. Neither the ladies' nor men's room had toilet paper, which they promptly addressed when I asked. The return of the vehicle was easy. I told them that the change oil light had come on that morning which I was driving, but it was not showing when I returned it according to the staff member. Thankfully, I did not have to wait long for the return shuttle. Both shuttle drivers were extremely nice and helpful. And the staff was nice and helpful as well.

I reserved rental via Kayak and paid for Uber across Atlanta to this place due to break down to rent a car. When I get there the mention they only rent to airport customers which was not mentioned in rental. They wouldn’t rent me a car??!

Terrible! I walked in and told the man at the desk named Tony that I was there for pick up and he had the worst attitude and told me I needed to have an out of state license to pick up. I asked how do I cancel and he told me to call the company and he would tell them I didn’t pick up the van. I called and after an hr the lady told me he didn’t answer. So, I paid almost $400 and was never able to pick up the vehicle. Ruined my entire family vacation.
I didn’t get a car because Payless ran out of them, and told all customers in line that it will be at least 6 hour wait. The manager said this applied to everyone, regardless if you had a reservation or not.

Couldn't find the Payless counter at Atlanta airport. Signs said it was on the second floor. After looking for 30 minutes I somehow figured out it was being run out of the Avis counter with no signage on a different floor.

I was given an electric vehicle without being notified. It was not charged, I had to find an EV station which there are very few in rural Georgia, and best of all, when I finally found one, the car would not take the charge. I had to pay an uber to get back to the airport and leave the car behind and rent another one with a different provider. I expect to be compensated for this.

When I arrived in Atlanta to pick up a vehicle that I already paid for I had to wait in a 1.5 hour line just to see a representative then after that I had to wait another hour for them to get a car for me in total I waited 2.5 to 3 hours to get a vehicle. The worst service I have ever experienced
they did not have the category of cars we paid for and did not lower the charge for us. we feel cheated

Avis website allowed us to make a reservation but when we got to the location they said they had no cars available but that’s after they ignored us and others waiting for at least 10 mins. Horrible. We will never use Avis again.

Since there was 6 of us with suitcases, we rented a Suburban and when we went to pick it up, there was none available. When I gave her my name, she kept looking at the sheet that was in front of her. I asked if there was a problem and she said, yes, we do not have a Suburban available. She excused herself and went to call someone. She came back to let us know that there was a mini van available. So, we had to rent that or would not be able to get to our final destination. We had to put suitcases under our feet and drive like that for a little over 5 hours due to the size difference of the mini van compared to the Suburban. The attendant was very nice and was as helpful as she could be with the lack of inventory. Very disappointed and would not rent from Avis again.

You made our reservation at the wrong location. We made the reservation for the Atlanta airport but you all switched it to a location 35 minutes away. And by the time we arrived, the AVIS location at the airport was sold out. We ended up going with another rental company. We won't be using a 3rd party to make car reservations again.

I never got a car from this place because the guy said that they didn’t have any cars available for me and their system was down so he couldn’t help me out with anything.
Was generally good and friendly staff but as there was only one in attendance, the 20+ minute wait to get to the rental counter and engage was disappointing.
