The thrifty desk did not have the van I had booked, but instead had me registetred for a minivan - which was a completely different class of car and rate. The thrifty desk would not honor the reservation or the rate. I wound up not being able to transport everything I had intended as a result. Incredibly disappointing

They did not have a car ready. Would have had to wait 2 hours. I heard a gentleman say he had been there 3.5 hours. Got a car someplace else. The workers wee great, professional and kept their cool. Not having a car ready was the issue.

Car was given to me with fuel beeing empty. I realized it after I had left already. Front tires was borderline. Car had only 2000 miles left before oil service would have been required. We drove almost 3000.

Pickup experience was awful. They told me there was a 5 hour wait for my car, even though I had a reservation (other people had been waiting almost 6 hours). The people at the counter weren't really explaining what was going on at first. Since I was not prepared for the 6 hour wait I left to eat and get a power bank for my phone. I got back hours before my expected time but they implied they gave away my car because I wasn't there and had to start my wait again. Even though I had been there on time and they were the ones who were late. Also I had already paid! The absolute least they could have done was call me and alert me to return and held my car unless I did not. Overall I had to wait about 4.5 hours.

Horrible. Upon arrival to pick up my rental I was told there was an hour wait which turned into 2 hours. At that point I cancelled my reservation and went to another car rental business that immediately provided me with a car. This was my first and last experience with Thrifty.
The car was not at the location, a discount was not available when I drove to the next location to pick up the car.

Please check the rental car location hours before booking. I reserved a car for 5pm and my flight got in slightly later than expected and took an Uber to enterprise arriving at 5:10 to find out they closed at 5pm, so I was left stranded without a car and unable to get through to anyone. Kind of ridiculous to let someone reserve a car for the exact time the branch closes. Kayak shouldn’t allow this either

We made a reservation and went to the Enterprise counter at the Atlanta Airport and was told we did not have a reservation and they had no cars available. We had to rent from Avis and paid over $600.00 for 3 days to go to a wedding.

When I arrived, I was told I was at the wrong Enterprise desk...and that the other one was closed. There were NO cars available, at any price (let alone the "bargain" price I had booked) and I had to take a much higher walk-up rate at Avis. Lucky for me I have credit and Avis had a car! Enterprise USED TO BE a reliable vendor, but I hear nothing good about them anymore.
The reserved vehicle was not available. Rep was unable to provide a receipt to confirm rental canceled due to no vehicle available.

Worst experience ever. We were ask to pick up the car at 12 but the shop closed at 13. Impossible to rent another car in Atlanta. We miss 2 night out of our cabin rental and had to pay an hotel. Will never go through this website again

Avis website allowed us to make a reservation but when we got to the location they said they had no cars available but that’s after they ignored us and others waiting for at least 10 mins. Horrible. We will never use Avis again.

Since there was 6 of us with suitcases, we rented a Suburban and when we went to pick it up, there was none available. When I gave her my name, she kept looking at the sheet that was in front of her. I asked if there was a problem and she said, yes, we do not have a Suburban available. She excused herself and went to call someone. She came back to let us know that there was a mini van available. So, we had to rent that or would not be able to get to our final destination. We had to put suitcases under our feet and drive like that for a little over 5 hours due to the size difference of the mini van compared to the Suburban. The attendant was very nice and was as helpful as she could be with the lack of inventory. Very disappointed and would not rent from Avis again.

You made our reservation at the wrong location. We made the reservation for the Atlanta airport but you all switched it to a location 35 minutes away. And by the time we arrived, the AVIS location at the airport was sold out. We ended up going with another rental company. We won't be using a 3rd party to make car reservations again.

I never got a car from this place because the guy said that they didn’t have any cars available for me and their system was down so he couldn’t help me out with anything.
Wanted a car to pick up at the airport, instead had to take a taxi into the city during rush hour. Cost me an extra $100.00. Never use Kayak again.

I was searching Kayak for car rentals at Atlanta airport. Sixt was suggested as the best option. Only after booking I found that the rental location was on the other end of the city. It is unbelievable that I was tricked into renting a car at the other end of the town. A confirmation email from Kayak said I would receive an email from Sixt with support information. I received no communication from Sixt and could not access their support. Finally, I did not pick up the car and was charged the total amount by Sixt. This is unbelievable. I hope that you can help me get the refund.

I requested a car from Atlanta Airport. When I arrived at the counter in the airport I was told I had rented from the sixt location 20 minutes away. When I arrived there by Uber which was an extra $35. There were some other people who had the same experience. To compound the problem they didn't have the car I ordered, a BMW X3 and could only offer a Chevy Malibu, which as I was already late I had to take. Overall a really bad experience and with no one to talk to at priceline there is nothing I can do except stop using this service.
