There needs to be clear upfront information on deposit amounts and the fact a credit cannot be taken over the phone. Rented a car for my son online. They would not allow me to pay the full price online. When he went to pick up the car. They wouldn't take my card over the phone. A very bad situation. Could have left him stranded at the airport.

Horrible experience. Was given a pick-up to drive because they were out of the class I rented. How could I have rented a car that wasn’t available? Then had to pay more just to get a sedan that I rented originally. Total BS. In addition, I waited an hour behind 3 people. There was only one person at the desk. Worst experience ever. Don’t rent from Budget.
They changed my drop off time without informing me and charged me for it. Then they also upgraded my car even though I specifically wanted the cheapest rental! The additional taxes are just crazy. I thought I was renting a car for $145 but the total bill ended up $290 even after declining coverage.

The car was new and clean. Drop off was simple. The guy serving when we picked up.was very vague and never explained anything. We got charged 86 for toll sensor, without ever being told that it would cost that much or being explained how it worked. We barely went through any tolls (and I easily could have avoided them) had he explained how much they would charge. It felt dishonest.

It was very easy, the people were very polite . I did upgrade because the managers special was a smart car , and there is not enough room , and I did not feel safe driving that. I was really surprised you rent those. But I was really satisfied and it was only $15 for a 4 door Corolla

All the electric vehicles' batteries were drained so I had to get a gas car instead. For which they charged me $70 extra. They also charged me hidden fees/taxes on top of my already prepaid reservation

We were there for an hour and a half before we got our car and it was the 3rd car they got for us. The first car we had all our luggage in and they decided that car wasn't ready after we loaded it...the second car they brought to us wasn't big enough....it was a category or 2 lower than I paid for....finally we got a mini van that fit everything.....but we were there way to long.

Wasn't given the opportunity to do an inspection prior to leaving. Haven't received a receipt yet(4 days later). The car smelled bad, like trying to cover up cigarette smoke. Didn't do a return inspection with me.
All aspects from beginning to end went smooth as silk. Counter person was great. Car was nice and clean return and shuttle was smooth as silk. Will Use again.

Overall, it was fine. Only had 1/2 tank of gas. In my case it was fine as I wa staying local. Had i bn traveling i would have bn frustrated having to stop so soon after picking the car up.

It's extremely inconvenient that they'll only rent if you have a credit card, and this isn't plastered all over the check out page. It's a stupid company that won't take cash on the table, because it's not a credit card. Charge more for non-credit transactions, fine, but to make me waste money on two Ubers just to be told 'sorry, it's in our TOS that you can't rent without a credit card', with no obvious mention of this during checkout is absurd.

They did not have a car for my reservation at noon. Was told they likely would within 30 min so I suggested I go to lunch then come back. When I returned was told it could be another hour, but they could not guarantee it, it might be longer because some other employee needed to go to lunch, and blah blah blah. So did not rent a car.
Very Dissapointing, they have different price the one in the website and the one in the counter, they said they dont have the car that i reserved, so they change another car similar with extra fee, and end up almost double price. This is totally scam! I need to wait 1 and half hour to see the counter. The car was so dirty, looks like they just recevied from another customer, and give it to another customer without cleaning it!

Stood in line for over an hour was told they don’t have car I already paid for 20 people had same problem I walked to another rental agent and without advanced reservations was over charged
Supposed to walk up and get your car like the commercial had to wait 10 minutes for them to find my minivan also only one person to check in for up to get the car mid day 20 people in line when you get off the plane you don’t wanna wait in a line to get your car that you’re supposed to be able to walk to it get kind of disappointed

This is for all car rental places in general.... The car rental industry still lacks the business approach to move people through quickly and efficiently. I know there are some programs for frequent users, but for the rest of us, it takes a long time to rent a car. There needs to be new and improved operations to move general travelers through with efficiency. The airports can do it, car rental companies should be able to as well.
