Flight attendant went out of his way to find gluten free snacks for me. It was really wonderful.

I have scheduled flight 3733 from MSP to GRR several times over the last few months, and it consistently experiences delays. Last night it was delayed at least 3 hours, so instead of getting home by 7:00 PM so I could have dinner with my wife, I finally walked in after 10:00 PM. Delta’s way of making up for this was to offer a $12 meal voucher which turned out to be fairly useless.

The initial check in process was terrible. There should have been a agent at the overcrowded area directing people to the kiosk to obtain baggage tickets, then direction as to where to go to drop checked bags. I stood on line for 20 minutes to find that I was in the wrong line with no one around to ask for help. Kiosk attendants were no where to be found. The boarding process was the same due to delayed crew. There should have been no reason that counter staff couldn't have boarded the passengers so that the flight crew could take over when they arrived. The plane was an hour late due to no creative thinking or cross trained personnel. Just a though from a manager for over 40 years
