Flight was delayed because of an issue with the aircraft. We were only told we needed to return to the lounge and that updates will follow. No one informed their of anything else and we needed to follow the screen for updates. Initial boarding was very poor - what is the point of having priority boarding if there are 2 queues processing both priority and non priority at the same time?! Crew on board was nice and friendly.

Our first experience flying with Ryan Air was OK. We paid extra to choose aisle seats and cabin baggage - on such a short flight we thought we could manage without extra legroom. Wrong! My husband is a big guy and barely fit in the slim seats provided. I was surprised that the crew did not offer him a seat with more room - there were plenty of ‘extra legroom seats’ left vacant. Additionally, there was no water on board - not even for purchase. When I asked the crew for some water, they just shrugged and said there was none aboard.
